During the first round, the fighters studied and respected each other a lot, and trade punches only a few times, when Gaziev was able to bring the fight to the short distance. Besides that, the fighters scrambled a lot and spent a lot of time in the clinch.
Carl, though, got back to the second round willing to finish the fight quickly. Using his footwork and long range to keep Gaziev away, the British opened space for the deadly shot.
Booth threw a straight right to Gaziev’s chin that rocked the Russian. Carl even found time to drop one more bomb before the stoppage.
